Press release

Anders Danielsson is appointed Executive Vice President and new member of Skanska’s Senior Executive Team, SET. In the SET, Anders will be responsible for the Nordic Construction units, Skanska Sweden, Skanska Norway and Skanska Finland.

Anders currently holds the position as Business Unit President Skanska Norway. He has been with the company for 22 years and has extensive experience from many different roles, prior to his current position.

“Anders has a long experience in leading large organizations and a solid track record of developing profitable operations. Together with his values, his customer orientation, communication and leadership skills he is very well suitable to leading Skanska going forward as a member of the SET,” says Johan Karlström, President and CEO of Skanska.

Anders Danielsson will be succeeded in his current position as Business Unit President Skanska Norway by Ståle Rød, today member of the Skanska Norway management team.

Other changes in the SET:

Claes Larsson, Executive Vice President Skanska, takes on the responsibility for all Commercial Development units within Skanska.

Mats Williamson, Executive Vice President Skanska, takes on responsibility for Skanska Latin America in addition to Skanska UK and Skanska Infrastructure Development.

Mike McNally, Executive Vice President Skanska, will fully concentrate on the constructions units in the U.S., a market where Skanska sees large opportunities.

Richard Hultin has decided to leave the SET and take on the role as Senior Advisor Business Development. Richard will focus on larger projects in Sweden involving more than one Business Stream and will report to Anders Danielsson.

“I want to thank Richard for his valuable contributions in turning around the Residential Development business in the Nordics and in establishing Skanska as a leading player in the Central European commercial property market. Richard’s business mind set and extensive experience will provide great strength to our business activities in Sweden,” says Johan Karlström.

All changes are effective as of November 8, 2013.
