Skanska renovates and expands Tampa International Airport in Florida, USA, for USD 60 M, about SEK 500 M
Skanska has signed a supplemental contract to renovate and expand the Tampa International Airport (TPA) Main Terminal building in Tampa, Florida. The contract is worth USD 60 M, about SEK 500 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the second quarter of 2015.
When completed, the project will add 5,000 square meters to the terminal’s third-floor transfer level, with nearly 1,400 square meters of indoor public seating and large outdoor terraces.
Skanska began construction of the expansion in December 2014. The renovation will begin in July 2015, and the total project is slated for completion in November 2017.
