Skanska builds research and education facility for hospital in Florida, USA, for USD 63M, about SEK 530M
Skanska has signed a contract with Johns Hopkins Medicine All Children’s Hospital to build a research and education facility on the hospitals campus in Florida, USA. The contract is worth USD 63M, about SEK 530M, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska USA Building in the first quarter 2016.
The 21,000 square meter facility will consist of research and laboratory spaces, an educational space that will have an auditorium with 400 seats, collaboration space, office/administration space and a biorepository.
Skanska began construction in March 2016. The project is slated for completion in March 2018.
