Skanska invests NOK 630M, about SEK 630M, in a new office project in Oslo, Norway, with a total leasable area of ​​24,000 square meters. The construction contract is worth NOK 440M, about SEK 440M, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Norway in the fourth quarter 2016.

The office building Workplace Oo is located in the area Storo/Nydalen near the Ring 3 and barely three kilometers from central Oslo. The area is easy to reach both by public transport and car. In the area industrial history is mixed with a modern urban environment, where homes, workplaces and leisure activities at the same time is present, creating a new kind of urban setting.

Workplace Oo is designed to meet the requirements of the environmental certification BREEAM NOR Excellent. Skanska's patented cooling system Deep Green Cooling will be used in the office building.

The construction of Workplace Oo will begin immediately and the building will be completed during the fall in 2018.

Skanska Commercial Development Nordic has an ongoing office project in Oslo. Sundtkvartalet, which covers 30,000 square meters and will be completed in December 2016 in a joint venture with Entra, will among other things provide Skanska Norway's new headquarters.
