Skanska sells office building in Stockholm, Sweden, for about SEK 440M

Skanska has sold the office building Sthlm 03 in Stockholm, Sweden, to Aberdeen for about SEK 440M. The transaction will be booked by Skanska Commercial Property Development Nordic in the second quarter 2017. The transfer of the property is scheduled for December 2017.

Sthlm 03 is part of the first stage of Sthlm’s New Creative Business Spaces, Skanska’s investment initiative in the area Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm. The building, comprising about 6,500 square meters, is fully leased, with tenants like Boehringer Ingelheim, Lantmäteriet, Polystar, Erik Olsson Fastighetsförmedling and Wayne’s Coffee.

Sthlm New Creative Business Spaces consists of seven buildings and the Sthlm New office area will consist of 100,000 square meters of office space and accommodate more than 6,000 workplaces. In the area there is a wide range of restaurants and other services, close proximity to the neighborhood Södermalm, as well as good communications, with both tram and subway.
