Skanska divests its investment in the Mullberg wind farm in the Berg municipality, Sweden, for about SEK 370M
Skanska has sold all of its investment, 50 percent ownership, in the Mullberg wind farm in the Berg municipality, Sweden, for about SEK 370M. The buyer is Persson Invest. The transaction will be recorded by Skanska Infrastructure Development in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Skanska’s engagement in Mullberg started in 2012 as part of Skanska’s goal of being a leader in green construction and contributing to a more sustainable society. In addition to Skanska, the Mullberg wind farm is owned by Jämtkraft.
Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential- and commercial property projects in select home markets. The commercial development stream is also active in Denmark. Skanska offers services in public-private partnerships. Skanska had sales of about 67 billion SEK and more than 15,000 employees in its Nordic operations during 2016.
