Skanska divest office buildings in Gothenburg, Sweden, for about SEK 1 billion

Skanska has divested the office buildings Tändstickan II and III with parking garage in Gothenburg, Sweden, for about SEK 1 billion. The buyer is Kungsleden. The sale will recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the first quarter 2018. The transfer for Tändstickan II and the parking garage is scheduled to February 2018 and January 2019 for Tändstickan III.

The 18,000 square meters of office space in the two buildings are fully leased to Handelsbanken, ÅF, Capgemini, Försäkringskassan and BeSiDa, who will run a restaurant in Tändstickan III.

In developing the buildings there has been a strong focus on energy efficiency, sustainable materials and well-being and the buildings will be certified according to LEED.
