Skanska divests logistics property in Arlandastad, Sweden, for about SEK 230 M

Skanska has sold a logistics property in Arlandastad, Sweden, for about SEK 230 M. The buyer is Logicenters. The sale will be booked by Skanska Commercial Property Development Nordic in the first quarter 2019. The transfer of the property will take place during the first quarter 2020.

The logistics property covers about 25,000 square meters and will have modern specifications and be adapted to meet the demands from the tenant Veddestagruppen. The facility is the second of three buildings that are being developed and built by Skanska in the area. The construction of the first phase is ongoing and is also sold to Logicenters, which has previously been communicated.

Arlandastad is a well-established business area in a strategic location. With its proximity to both Stockholm city and Arlanda Airport, the area has become an important hub and is also growing as a logistics hub. The new facility will be located in direct connection to both E4 and E18.

Enabling works has begun and the facility will be completed during the first quarter of 2020.
