Skanska builds junior high school in Lake Oswego, Oregon, USA, for USD 69 M, about SEK 630 M
Skanska has signed a contract with the Lake Oswego School District to demolish and replace Lakeridge Junior High School in Oregon, USA. The contract is worth USD 69 M, about SEK 630 M, which will be included in US order bookings for the first quarter 2019.
The project includes building a 12,000 square-meter school facility to replace the existing school. The new school will feature an improved learning environment, improved security and access controls, improved capacity, and a passive ventilation system to provide energy savings.
Construction will begin in April 2019. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2020.
