Skanska builds multifamily house and senior care home in Gothenburg, for SEK 330 M

Skanska has signed an agreement with Sverigehuset i Göteborg AB on the construction of a senior care home and multifamily house with 193 apartments in central Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract is worth SEK 330 M, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Sweden for the third quarter 2019.

The apartments are built in the Lundby district and include care home with 117 apartments, 52 rental apartments, 24 condominiums and 4 venues in the entrance floor. The house is between seven and eight floors high, comprising 19,000 square meters. The care home provides opportunities for creating individually adapted apartments.

The construction work will begin in October 2019 and the houses will be ready for occupancy during 2021/2022.
