Skanska acquires land on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden, for about SEK 520M
Skanska has acquired land on Kungsholmen, Sweden, from the City of Stockholm for about SEK 520M. As the property now is transferred, Skanska accesses the first phase of the "Lindhagenskvarteren" development area.
Skanska plans to develop a new office building on the property. The building right covers approximately 28,000 square meters. The acquisition refers to the first phase of a larger area of land that Skanska has agreed to acquire from the City of Stockholm.
The western parts of Kungsholmen have developed strongly over the past twenty years and is now one of Stockholm's most attractive locations for work and living with good communications, mixed housing, and good service.
Lindhagenskvarteren is the last piece of the puzzle to complete the area and comprises approximately 90,000 square meters of new offices.
