The court is developed by Skanska in collaboration with Vacse. The building is being constructed by Skanska Sweden and is included in the order intake for the second quarter, 2024. The investment, including a construction contract of SEK 350M, is estimated to amount to approximately SEK 430M. Building permits are now in place and construction will begin immediately.

The court building will be five stories high with a total gross area of just over 10,500 square meters. It will be the seat of the District Court, the Administrative Court and the Land and Environmental Court. The aim is for the building to be BREEAM certified, level outstanding, which means that it must meet high sustainability requirements. In addition, it is intended to achieve Energy Class A, which corresponds to halving the energy consumption compared to the Housing Authority's requirements.
