Skanska has reached more than 90 percent acceptances for its offer for Selmer

Skanska has announced today that it has received acceptances of more than 90% of the total number of shares in Selmer ASA. The minimum acceptance level for its voluntary cash offer has therefore been met. Skanska will now proceed with the formal filings with the requisite authorities as soon as possible.

May 30, 2000   Skanska has reached more than 90 percent acceptances for its offer for Selmer   Skanska has announced today that it has received acceptances of more than 90% of the total number of shares in Selmer ASA. The minimum acceptance level for its voluntary cash offer has therefore been met. Skanska will now proceed with the formal filings with the requisite authorities as soon as possible. As previously announced, shareholders in Selmer who have not yet submitted their acceptance forms can accept the offer until Friday 9th June 2000 4 p.m. Norwegian time.
