Comment on article in Swedish financial daily, Dagens Industri, June 7
In respect of today’s press article about a future change of president at Skanska AB, Sverker Martin-Löf, Skanska’s Chairman, provides the following clarification:
”Claes Björk has announced that he does not intend to extend his employment contract, which expires in July 2003. Accordingly, the Board has decided to commence a recruitment process aimed at finding a successor in good time, so that the changeover can be implemented in a well-planned manner. It is also our hope and objective to find Claes Björk’s successor from within the Group,” says Sverker Martin-Löf, Chairman of Skanska AB.
