Skanska SL Bus depot

The bus depot will have capacity for 120 buses, as well as adjacent workshops, bus-washing facilities, a garage and offices. The building will have approximately 50,000 square meters of space and the office portion will be a maximum of seven levels. The local plan is now approved and the construction is scheduled to commence in the summer, with completion planned for the end of 2016. The project will employ approximately 200 people.

Sustainability will be in focus during construction, with respect to material selection and technical solutions. The building will partly receive its energy supply from solar panels on the outer wall and stonecrops will be planted on the roof. The buses that will park in the depot will operate exclusively on biogas.
