Skanska’s Finnish subsidiary has been contracted to construct a total of 191 residential units in Helsinki. The total value of the three housing contracts is FIM 80 million, about SEK 110 million. The customer is the Housing Production Department of the City of Helsinki.

Skanska to construct housing in Helsinki for SEK 110 M Skanska’s Finnish subsidiary has been contracted to construct a total of 191 residential units in Helsinki. The total value of the three housing contracts is FIM 80 million, about SEK 110 million. The customer is the Housing Production Department of the City of Helsinki. The apartments will be constructed in the vicinity of the Rastilla recreation area in Helsinki. The project includes deeded and tenant-owner rights. The apartments are scheduled to be completed in spring 2001. The City of Helsinki is one of Finland’s leading housing developers. In 1999, it started construction of slightly more than 1,300 apartments.
