Skanska tenders for the minority in the Czech Construction Company IPS
Skanska as a 66.97 percent shareholder of IPS has today announced the new mandatory minority shareholder tender for IPS. The tender opens on 27 July 2000 and will last until 25 September 2000. Skanska offers CZK 191 share.
July 26, 2000 Skanska tenders for the minority in the Czech Construction Company IPS Skanska as a 66.97 percent shareholder of IPS has today announced the new mandatory minority shareholder tender for IPS. The tender opens on 27 July 2000 and will last until 25 September 2000. Skanska offers CZK 191 share. Skanska has increased its holdings of IPS shares by 130.000 ordinary shares (0.92 percent) since June 29. Skanska has paid a total consideration of CZK 2.47 billion (USD 64.8 mln) for 66.97 percent of IPS’ shares. The acquisition of IPS is part of Skanska’s expansion strategy in Central and Eastern Europe.
