Skanska to build research center for University of Massachusetts Medical School for USD 100 M

Skanska’s American subsidiary Beacon Skanska Construction Company has been awarded a contract to construct a medical research center for the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. The order is valued at USD 100 M, SEK 815 M. The approximately 36,000 sq. m. (362,000 sq. ft.) research center will house a wet lab, vivarium space, as well as associated laboratory support areas, conference facilities and meeting rooms, and administrative and office space.x
