As of autumn 2000, SEB Kort will lease 9,000 square meters of space in the property, which is on Magnus Ladulåsgatan. The annual rent will be approximately SEK 18 million. The lease also includes an option for SEB Kort to lease slightly more than 4,000 square meters of additional space in the property. SEB Kort is currently established in another Skanska-owned property on Mäster Samuelsgatan, in Stockholm city. "It is extremely gratifying that our long-term cooperation with SEB is to continue, now that SEB Kort has selected Skanska as a supplier of premises in the future. The fact that SEB Kort is moving to Södermalm also demonstrates that the area is an attractive alternative to inner-city locations," says Fredrik Wirdenius, President of Skanska Real Estate Stockholm. Skanska Real Estate Stockholm owns about 500,000 square meters of modern office space in Stockholm. The company's other customers include Ericsson, Electrolux and Intentia. Also at Södermalm, Skanska is currently engaged in a development project involving a total of 16,000 square meters of office and residential premises in the Gamen property block. This represents an investment of about SEK 200 million.
