Skanska building for the Norwegian IT sector
Skanska’s Norwegian subsidiary, Skanska AS, has secured two IT-sector contracts. The company will be building a new head office in Oslo for United Paneurope Communications (UPC). The order is worth NOK 162 M, approximately SEK 170 M. The customer is the Norwegian exchange-listed real-estate company Avantor ASA. Skanska AS is building a new head office for Software Innovation AS in Bærum, near Oslo. The order is valued at NOK 246 M, or about SEK 258 M. The customer is the Norwegian real-estate and investment company Investra ASA.

Skanska’s Norwegian subsidiary, Skanska AS, has secured two IT-sector contracts.
The company will be building a new head office in Oslo for United Paneurope Communications (UPC). The order is worth NOK 162 M, approximately SEK 170 M. The customer is the Norwegian exchange-listed real-estate company Avantor ASA.
UPC is one of Europe’s leading companies in the development and expansion of broadband networks for Internet, cable television and telephony, with connections to both households and companies.
The office building, with a floor area of 18,000 square meters, is scheduled for completion in summer 2001.
Skanska AS is building a new head office for Software Innovation AS in Bærum, near Oslo.
The order is valued at NOK 246 M, or about SEK 258 M. The customer is the Norwegian real-estate and investment company Investra ASA.
The project, which will include 13,000 square meters of office space and a parking area, is scheduled for completion in summer 2001.
