Skanska USA has obtained its third major order in a short space of time in the United States. The latest order is worth USD 115 M.

SKANSKA CONTINUES TO SECURE ORDERS IN THE U.S. .

Skanska USA has obtained its third major order in a short space of time in the United States. The latest order is worth USD 115 M.

The Skanska USA subsidiary, Beers, has been commissioned to build a federal bank building in Atlanta. The 80,000 square-meter building is for the Federal Reserve Bank and will include an automated banknote printing plant, with a state-of-the-art security system, security vaults and offices.

Preparatory work has already been started, but construction work will not commence until the middle of 1998 and will be completed in the year 2000.

Including this latest order, Skanska's total order backlog in the United States now amounts to USD 3.1 billion.
