Skanska and Coca Cola sign cooperation agreement
Skanska has signed an agreement with The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, USA, covering the development of a process to accelerate the building of their production and distribution facilities in Scandinavia, parts of Europe and North America. The agreement envisages considerable speed and value increases in Coca-Cola’s investment projects through the use of a dedicated project team. The Coca-Cola Company and its associated bottlers make significant world-wide investments in new facilities each year.

Skanska has signed an agreement with The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, USA, covering the development of a process to accelerate the building of their production and distribution facilities in Scandinavia, parts of Europe and North America. The agreement envisages considerable speed and value increases in Coca-Cola’s investment projects through the use of a dedicated project team. The Coca-Cola Company and its associated bottlers make significant world-wide investments in new facilities each year.
Skanska was selected as strategic partner for Coca-Cola based on its long international experience and local resources in many countries, as well as the innovative technical solutions it offered. Coca-Cola has recently concluded comparable agreements with a limited number of construction companies throughout the world.
The agreement with Skanska covers the Nordic countries, parts of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union together with North America.
Skanska is currently constructing Coca-Cola's new production facility in Sweden, in Haninge on the outskirts of Stockholm, and its subsidiary Beers in the US was earlier responsible for construction of the Coca Cola Company’s head office complex in Atlanta.
