Skanska builds educational facility in New York City, USA, for USD 60 M, about SEK 400 M

Skanska has signed a contract with to build a 6,000 square meter educational facility in New York City. The contract value is USD 60 M, about SEK 400 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the third quarter of 2014.

Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2015 and completion is expected in December 2017.

Skanska USA is one of the leading development and construction companies in the country, consisting of four business units: Skanska USA Building, which specializes in building construction; Skanska USA Civil, specialized in civil infrastructure; Skanska Infrastructure Development North America, which develops public-private partnerships; and Skanska USA Commercial Development, which develops commercial projects in select U.S. markets.
