New president of Skanska Civil appointed
Bengt Johansson has been appointed president of Skanska International Civil Engineering AB.
NEW PRESIDENT OF SKANSKA CIVIL APPOINTED
Bengt Johansson has been appointed president of Skanska International Civil Engineering AB.
Bengt Johansson, 47, has been working within Skanska since 1979 and is currently serving as manager of the Construction South Department of Skanska Sweden. He will assume his position as president on April 1, succeeding Per Hofvander who will be working with civil engineering matters within Skanska Europe.
Skanska International Civil Engineering conducts project export in Latin America, Africa, India, countries in the Far East and Europe. Currently, several major projects are under way, including a power plant in Colombia, water supply project in Zimbabwe, drainage tunnels in Hong Kong and a road tunnel under an ocean fiord on Iceland. Skanska Civil Engineering has net sales of SEK 2 billion, with 5,000 employees.
