Press Release 2000-03-10   Skanska changes logotype and invests in its brand Skanska has decided to go for a stronger and more uniform corporate brand. With effect from today, Skanska is using a new logotype for the group and its companies. The change will be implemented gradually and will comprise all of the Group’s operations throughout the world. "We see how more and more of our customers are streamlining their operations and focusing on their core expertise. These companies are seeking a total partner for their construction related services throughout the world. This is where we at Skanska want to fulfill a function," says Claes Björk, Skanska’s CEO. "Thus, this is a perfect time to invest in a global brand, focusing on a common and more modern identity." Today, Skanska is increasingly awarded repeat assignments from large global companies. This trend of partnership and repeat assignments is continuously expanding. The work on producing the new logotype has been carried out in cooperation with Brindfors Enterprise IG. ___________________________________________________ For further information, contact: Tor Krusell, Vice President Communications Skanska AB, Tel +46-8-753 87 47
