Skanska is selling the Hantverkaren 24 office building in Stockholm for SEK 54 million. The capital gain on the sale is SEK 42 million. The buyer is the Gyllenforsen Fastigheter real estate company.

  Skanska sells property in Stockholm for gain of SEK 42 M   Skanska is selling the Hantverkaren 24 office building in Stockholm for SEK 54 million. The capital gain on the sale is SEK 42 million. The buyer is the Gyllenforsen Fastigheter real estate company. The property, which is located in the Kungsholmen district of Stockholm, has 2,900 sq. m. of floor space. The building is fully leased, including such tenants as Castrol and the Stockholm County Council. Skanska has owned the property since 1989. "Our strategy is to sell fully developed properties in order to proceed with developing new projects. We have developed modern and efficient premises on Kungsholmen for Electrolux, Swedish Customs, EHPT and Ericsson Sweden, among others," relates Fredrik Wirdenius, President of Skanska Real Estate Stockholm.
