Skanska Finland has been contracted to build a new prison in Vantas, outside Helsinki.
The order is valued at FIMK 103 million, about SEK 140 million. The customer is the Prison Authority within the Justice Ministry.

Skanska to build prison in Finland for SEK 140 M
Skanska Finland has been contracted to build a new prison in Vantas, outside Helsinki.
The order is valued at FIMK 103 million, about SEK 140 million. The customer is the Prison Authority within the Justice Ministry.
The prison will have 9,000 sq.m. of floor space and house 225 inmates. Work begins in May and is scheduled to be completed in spring 2002.
