Skanska to construct bridges and access roads in Poland for PLN 138 M, about SEK 310 M
Skanska has received the construction contract for bridges over Odra river and Jeziorka river together with access roads near Wrocław, Poland. The contract value amounts to PLN 138 M, about SEK 310 M, which will be included in order bookings for the fourth quarter. Customer is the Lower Silesian Roads and Rail Service, the public institution in charge of road and railway projects in the Lower Silesia region.
The project comprises of a 565 meter long bridge over Odra river, a 99 meter long bridge over Jeziorka river and 7 kilometers of access roads. Skanska will also construct animal passages and acoustic screens. The project, co-financed by funds from the European Regional Development Fund, is scheduled to be completed at the end of September 2013.
