Skanska signs contract for bridge design and construction in Florida, USA, worth USD 118 M, about SEK 770 M

Skanska has signed a contract with Florida Department of Transportation to design and build a bridge in Florida, USA. The contract value is USD 118 M, about SEK 770 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Civil for the second quarter 2013. Construction work will begin in July 2013, with a scheduled completion in June 2016.

The new two lane bridge will be built parallel to the existing Choctawhatchee Bay Bridge (SR 83) in Walton County, Florida, USA. The project also includes a new public park facility and associated road work.
