Skanska signs power plant construction contract in Indiana, USA, worth USD 101 M, about SEK 650 M

Skanska has signed a construction contract with an existing electric power client. The contract is worth USD 101 M, about SEK 650 M, in order bookings for Skanska USA Civil for the second quarter 2013.

Skanska Industrial contractors will perform structural and mechanical installation on an environmental compliance project. The contract includes structural steel, ductwork, piping and electric cabling. Skanska is currently completing the construction of a pedestrian tunnel on the same campus.

Work will commence in April 2013, with anticipated completion in July 2015.
