Skanska to construct Finnish shopping center for SEK 150 M

Skanska’s Finnish subsidiary Skanska Finland Oy has been contracted to build a shopping center in Jyväskyla in central Finland. The contract is valued at FIM 106 M, about SEK 150 M. The customer is the Varma-Sampo Mutual Insurance company.

PRESS RELEASE 2000-03-13   Skanska to construct Finnish shopping center for SEK 150 M Skanska’s Finnish subsidiary Skanska Finland Oy has been contracted to build a shopping center in Jyväskyla in central Finland. The contract is valued at FIM 106 M, about SEK 150 M. The customer is the Varma-Sampo Mutual Insurance company. The shopping center is 18,000 sq. m. and will house the Asko furnishing department store, the Sotka furniture store and the Anttila home center chain as well as a number of other shops, a bank and a restaurant. Construction work has started and the project will be completed in October 2000.
