USD 129 M.

SKANSKA LANDS NEW MAJOR ORDER IN U.S.

Skanska USA has landed another major order valued at
USD 129 M.

The order was won by Skanska’s U.S. subsidiary Karl Koch, which is the main contractor in a 50/50 consortium with the New York company NAB. The contract covers renovation of the Williamsburg Bridge, a suspension bridge between Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York.

Work will begin this year but most of the work will be done late 1998 and in 1999.

Karl Koch and NAB are currently concluding as previous assignment involving the same bridge.
