Press release
A group of unusual bridge workers is working high up inside the Öresund Link’s 203.5-meter high pylons. Hanging from ropes, they are climbing the pylons on the inside to carry out a final inspection of the concrete surface.
“Thanks to Alpine techniques, we can avoid building high scaffolding to climb up. As a result, the work can be done faster, will be cheaper and even safer, since fewer people have to work at such great heights,” says Peter Löfqvist, production manager at Sundlink.
