Sektionsbyggarna acquires Danish group

Skanska subsidiary SektionsByggarna AB has reached an agreement to acquire all shares in the Danish group, Skurvognservice. The group's areas of operation include the leasing of temporary work-site cabins in Denmark and Germany, and the manufacture and sale of modular buildings for offices, daycare centers and schools. The number of employees totals 90, and sales in 1997 amounted to approximately DKK 100 million. The current owner Svend Erik Kriby will continue as president.

SEKTIONSBYGGARNA ACQUIRES DANISH GROUP

Skanska subsidiary SektionsByggarna AB has reached an agreement to acquire all shares in the Danish group, Skurvognservice. The group's areas of operation include the leasing of temporary work-site cabins in Denmark and Germany, and the manufacture and sale of modular buildings for offices, daycare centers and schools. The number of employees totals 90, and sales in 1997 amounted to approximately DKK 100 million. The current owner Svend Erik Kriby will continue as president.

The Skurvognservice group consists of Skurvognsservice A/S in Taastrup, Skurvognsfabrikken Sønderjyden A/S in Rødekro, and Bauwagen Vermietungsservice GmbH in Berlin.

Prior to the acquisition, SektionsByggarna has 160 employees and its sales during 1997 were approximately SEK 300 million. SektionsByggarna includes Flexator AB and Temporent AB.
