Skanska has sold its Python 6 property on Skeppsbron in Gamla Stan, which is the Old City district of Stockholm.
PRESS RELEASE, APRIL 29, 1999 37/99 Skanska makes capital gain of SEK 29 M on sale of property in Old City area of Stockholm Skanska has sold its Python 6 property on Skeppsbron in Gamla Stan, which is the Old City district of Stockholm. The sale price was SEK 31.5 M and the capital gain was SEK 29 M. The purchaser is Simsonship, a firm of shipbrokers, which has been the building's principal tenant. The 1,200 square-meter property, which has been under Skanska ownership since the mid 1970s, is fully leased/rented. "The sale of this property is part of our strategy to maintain a high turnover in our real estate portfolio. Accordingly, we are selling properties that are fully leased/rented and developed," says Fredrik Wirdenius, President, Skanska Real Estate Stockholm.
