Skanska constructed the 72,270-SF new student recreation center for the University of Portland. To serve their mission of educating the whole person, the University of Portland provided this modern facility for the physical, mental and spiritual health of their students and staff.  The building features a climbing area with a 40-foot glazed wall. Construction also included an elevated running deck, basketball court, exercise studios and a weight/strength training gym. The facility offers equipment rental space and health and nutrition classrooms. The project was contracted to be built to LEED Silver standards.
