Skanska constructed the first luxury apartment building to be built in downtown Orlando in many years. Located adjacent to Orlando's Historic District in the heart of downtown, the Colonial Style apartment complex is set on four acres, complete with live oaks, swimming pools and pedestrian pathways. The four-story structure supports 303 units and a 469-space parking garage. Echelon's first project in downtown Orlando, Cheney Place offers a much-needed infusion into downtown living. Skanska successfully delivered the project on schedule and within budget, and consequently was awarded the contract for a second phase, Echelon Uptown.
