The footbridge over the Zakopianka route in Gaj is another object over the busy national road no. 7. The investment has increased the safety of both the locals and drivers.
The structure of the bridge consists of four steel pylons (two on each side of national road no. 7) and a load-bearing structure. The structure was suspended on pre-fabricated bar tendons and constitutes a steel grate of box beams connected by steel crossbars. In addition to the bridge, there were built access points to the footbridge, linear drainage system and a fence, visually separating the access points from a nearby building. The footbridge was equipped with two elevators. It was also appropriately lit. A backlight was installed on each of the shrouds, in the elevator shafts and in the balustrades.
