Skanska provided construction management at risk services for a new four story, 132,000-SF educational facility in the center of the Storrs Campus. The building houses five disciplines of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Connecticut, inclusive of Economics, Political Science, Journalism, Linguistics, and Literatures, Cultures and Languages Departments. The building offers state-of-the-art audio visual systems, adaptable to daylight conditions, in each of its six conference rooms, eight lab spaces, 24 classrooms and a 200-seat auditorium. North and South Wings of the building include more than 150 faculty offices, 24 graduate suites, and a film studio with editing suite to enrich the academic experience of faculty and students alike.
