The new middle school is approximately 128,000-SF on the north half of a site shared with the existing Martha Lake Elementary, which remained occupied during the entire construction period. A two-story main classroom building sits adjacent to a one-story gymnasium, library and commons area. The project included renovations of existing sports fields, site improvements for new sports fields, parking, bus and auto circulation, emergency vehicle access, neighborhood pedestrian connections and significant new storm water management facilities.
