Seattle Mariners, Safeco Field Roof Wheel Assembly Replacement

The extensive renovation work at Safeco Field includes several years of sustaining projects. These projects include the Roof Wheel Assembly Phase I and II consisting of 10 driven wheel assemblies and five idler wheel assemblies to maintain the operable roof system. The Roof Wheel Assembly Replacement included the replacement of 32 wheel/axle assemblies, eight new truck assemblies and installation of 208 jacking tab. Construction took place in a high-traffic, urban setting of downtown Seattle.
