I/55 Kunovice, thoroughfare - traffic safety measures

The reconstruction of the Kunovice thoroughfare will ensure a significant increase in the fluidity and safety of traffic in the very centre of the congested town. The length of the reconstruction on the I/55 road is approximately 1205 metres. The I/55 carriageway has been widened in places, the number of lanes has been increased in some parts of the section, and new bus stops and parking bays with paved surfaces have been added. The project also includes the modification of intersections with all roads in the affected section of I/55, with two intersections receiving new traffic lights. The reconstruction also includes pedestrian and cyclist routes parallel to the roads being modified.
