The D1 Lietavská Lúčka - Dubná Skala motorway section starts at the Lietavská Lúčka junction, where it connects with the previous D1 Hričovské Podhradie - Lietavská Lúčka motorway section. After the junction, the motorway route proceeds to the east, crosses the cadastres of the municipalities of Porúbka, Rosina, Višňové until it merges with the Višňové tunnel. The tunnel passes under the Hoblík hill and after more than seven kilometres it ends at the Dubná Skala crossroads and connects to the further continuation of D1.
