Modernization of sewage treatment plant in Jelenia Góra

We modernized the sewage treatment plant to increase its capacity, improve sewage quality and adapt the facility to Polish and European environment protection requirements. The project included a multiphase biological reactor, secondary settling tanks with liquid sludge pumping stations as well as sludge processing facilities. We also modernized a levee protecting the plant from the Bóbr river side. We also modernized the existing facilities and built new ones for the technological line. The challenge was that we worked on an operating facility and we needed to ensure the required sewage parameters.
The project ensured proper sewage treatment and improved sludge management process.
