Carilion Hospital Consolidation

The Carilion Consolidation project came about from the need to consolidate two premier downtown hospital facilities, Roanoke Memorial Hospital and Roanoke Community Hospital. Located just a mile and a half apart, the project is one of the largest construction projects in Roanoke Valley history by consolidating all of their inpatient services into the Roanoke Memorial Hospital campus. To support the added services, Memorial expanded by 300,000-SF and renovated 100,000-SF of interior spaces.
