An award-winning redevelopment

We designed and refurbished a 51,000sqm building to accommodate 2,400 staff from the Ministry of Justice.

This major fit-out included improvements to the façade and roof refurbishment.

14 floors of improvements

A complete internal strip out was followed up with the installation of new services, lifts, toilets, staff restaurant, conference facilities, ground floor entrance and courtyard atria space. New, open-plan and cellular office areas were also created on all 14 floors.

50 Queen Anne's Gate drove forward standards in environmental performance. As a result, the project was awarded an ‘excellent’ rating in its BREEAM assessment.

Skanska worked with Land Securities on this redevelopment. It achieved the British Council of Offices Award for Best Refurbished/Recycled Workplace in 2010.
