Elegance for London’s most prestigious retail district

In the heart of London’s luxury shopping district, Skanska demolished an existing building and replaced it with a six-storey retail and office development – with minimal disturbance to trade. 

With complex temporary works to ensure the neighbouring buildings and roads were supported, the project was completed on budget and handed over five weeks early.

In keeping with the opulence of the area, the building was fitted with punch-hole windows and clad with Portland Stone.

The whole development included the de-commissioning, temporary re-location and final installation of a new sub-station for UK Power Networks, a process that was led successfully by Skanska.
