University of Arkansas - Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium Expansion
About the Project
Skanska completed the $70 million, 22,000-seat expansion to the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback stadium under a hard bid contract. The expansion increased the seating capacity from 51,000 to 72,000 (with an option to expand capacity to 80,000 with temporary bleacher seating) by adding seating to the east and south sides of the stadium. At the northern end zone, what was then the largest LED video board in a sports venue (30-ft by 70-ft) was installed along with a new scoreboard.
All of the concrete and drywall work associated with the expansion was self-performed by Skanska. In addition to the added permanent seating, two interior club seating areas and 68 skybox suites, complete with wet bars and bathrooms, were constructed.
