Southwest Oregon Regional Airport New Terminal Development

  • New Terminal Development

This project included design and construction of a new 30,000-square-foot terminal, that accommodates a maximum of two jet gates, as well as a new 5,000-square-foot air traffic control tower, approximately 100 feet tall. The new terminal at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport serves Horizon and United Airlines. Facility expansion to accommodate future air carriers or expansion of existing carriers was considered in the final design.

The New Terminal Development project included the terminal building, aircraft apron, utilities, security system, baggage system, jet bridge planning, roadways, parking lots and roads that tie into existing infrastructure. The terminal building is two levels: the upper level is ticketing, check-in, concessions, airline ticket offices, lobby, baggage claim, public toilets, escalators, and security screening; the lower level includes arrivals/departures lounges and lobby, inbound/outbound baggage, airline support offices, public toilets, and security screening.
