Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport Terminal
This $35 million, 90,000-Square foot new terminal at Kalamazoo Battlecreek International Airport (AZO) included five passenger gates with enclosed elevated skybridges, two security lines, rental car space and cafeteria/dining space. The project was built directly adjacent to the fully operational existing terminal, and site logistics with trailers, laydown areas and storage were within a secured area of the air operations area (AOA). Close coordination with the airport and FAA was required during the replacement of the fiber optic infrastructure.
